With over 20 years of experience in real estate law, George co-founded the firm in 2017 with the mission of simplifying the closing process and providing a seamless, transparent experience for all parties involved.
Pavlos Gakis, Esq.
Pavlos Gakis is a co-founder of Simple Title Closing and Escrow, a law firm dedicated to simplifying the residential and commercial real estate closing process throughout New England. A passionate attorney committed to ensuring smooth, informed transactions for all clients, Pavlos earned his law degree from New England Law in Boston, where he developed a strong foundation in real estate law, business transactions, and legal practice. His deep industry knowledge and ability to navigate complex legal matters have been integral to the firm’s success in delivering efficient, transparent closing services.

Craig Hartwell graduated from Northeastern University in 2002 and the Massachusetts School of Law in 2006, focusing on delivering the best outcomes for buyers, sellers, and lenders in real estate transactions. A Middleton, Massachusetts resident, Craig has served on the town’s Zoning Board of Appeals for sixteen years (five as chair), reflecting his commitment to the community. Outside the office, he enjoys running with his dog and cheering on his two children at their various activities. Admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 2006, Craig remains dedicated to providing exceptional legal services for his clients.

With over 26 years of sales expertise and more than two decades of experience in the real estate industry, Gregory has built a reputation for his unwavering energy, integrity, and profound market insights—qualities that have fueled his success in the competitive real estate arena.
A dynamic and proven leader, Gregory consistently develops and guides high-performing sales teams that surpass expectations. His leadership style emphasizes accountability, a sense of urgency, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. By setting a high standard and leading by example, Gregory fosters a culture of collaboration and continuous growth. Beyond his executive role, he is deeply committed to community engagement, proudly contributing as a board member for various organizations.
Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, equipping him with a strong foundation in business strategy and financial analysis.
Outside of his professional accomplishments, Gregory was born in Greece and raised in Worcester, Gregory now resides in Lowell with his wife, Georgia, and their twins, Elias and Maria.
He’s an avid basketball enthusiast. He spends his free time coaching on the AAU circuit, sharing his passion for the game while mentoring young athletes to excel both on and off the court.
Bill Athanasiou
Bill Athanasiou is resident of Worcester Massachusetts where he was born and raised. He entered the Mortgage business as a licensed loan officer in 2005 and gained firsthand experience working in the tristate area and later returning to Massachusetts. He has held multiple licenses in the Mortgage and real estate industry throughout the years. In 2008 Bill started working in Title and closing and has grown sales for local and national clients. With first-hand experience as a real-estate investor both in commercial and residential arenas he is able to bring his passion for real estate to assisting clients with every aspect of their transactions.
